I liked this review because it emphasized the fact that the ballet is a Romantic Era classic, and that this production managed to actually show that period style which, IMO, is so often missing in stagings of this work. "Giselle may be called a period piece evocative of the past, but in Nashville it was performed fraught with humanity and lightness, giving the audience much to think about concerning ballet's history and the remarkable growth given forth in its performance by Nashville dancers." -------------------- Victoria Leigh

I was lucky enough to see this production, and found it very high quality.
Not only the principles, but the entire corps was AMAZING. |
