My DS has been dancing for 8 years (he's 16 now). We've usually purchased his dancewear online, since so few stores in our area carry men's dancewear. I am wondering if anyone can suggest an actual store to visit in the New York City area that has a good selection of both men's dancewear and shoes. We have been to the Capezio stores on Broadway, but I wonder if there is something else out there?? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Try the Sansha store. I have usually had good luck there. But if you want a few more options online, check out New York Dancewear, they have a whole Mens area and check the Special Order section of the site too.

The Sansha store is pretty small and not much for men. The few times I've been there the standard answers was be get it online because they didn have the size. NY dancewear is probably better is terms of stock. I'v never been there but they have a Flushing, NY mail address. You can find it on line.

You said that you go online. Have you tried DanceX.com?

Hey! There is an online dance store called... www.boysdancetoo.com... I don't think they have a physical store yet, but they are located in the NYC area so maybe it is possible to some how visit them? I would definitely contact them! :)
