I got a blister on the back of my foot (not from ballet though) and now my ankle has totally swelled up its soo painful to walk, and its huge! Its all red too and it hasnt gone down all day. I iced it for about ten minutes today but im sure thats not enough, what should i do and what is this? Also it hurts to move it at all my tendon is so red its crazy. thanks for the help! These are the criteria still used today to determine whether there's an infection or not. Heat, Redness, Swelling, Pain. You've got an infection. Go to the doctor immediately. Quote Link to comment
