Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted June 9, 2003 Administrators Report Share Posted June 9, 2003 Hello Dancer4eva. and welcome to the Young Dancers' forum on Ballet Alert! Online Please may I ask you to take the caps lock off on your keyboard, because when you type in all caps it is like shouting. Thank you. Auditions for Summer Intensive programs are held in January, February and March in major cities throughout the country. The listing for these auditions, with the dates and places, will come out in Dance and Pointe magazines in the middle of December. There are lots of excellent programs, and if you read through the Young Dancers forums you will find many of them discussed here. At the end of this summer there will be reports on each program, and you will find those on the forum called 2003 Summer Intensive Reports. Auditions for all of these programs consist of a regular ballet technique class, followed by pointe work. Quote Link to comment

Guest alliecat93
I know you said that you wanted to go out of state, but since it's too late for this year you might want to try a program in St. Louis for this summer. I'm not sure if you currently attend one of these schools, but it seems that there are several ballet schools in the St. Louis area. By doing a search, I have found some addresses for you. www.stlouisballet.org/school www.balletmidwest.org http://www.alexandraballet.com/school/school.html Quote Link to comment
