Guest Medora
Hi everyone. I've been really concentrating on keeping my shoulders down, trying to activate the back muscles, and keeping the pectoral part of my chest flat and engaged, back of the arm lifted, you know, all that good stuff. I have had a nasty habit of tensing my shoulders causing them to lift, so I'm trying to keep them down. However, now my shoulders hurt, like a muscle spasm or something, at the top of my back right below my neck mostly. Why does it hurt? Does it have something to do with me pressing my shoulders down? It shouldn't hurt there, should it? I'm thinking it might be the way I'm sitting at home or something, but I'm not sure. I think dance might be causing it, because it didn't start until I went into my heartier summer class schedule Sat after two lighter weeks. P.S. I love the new smilies, so many I don't know what to do with them! And the green icon is cool, although I have no idea what it means. Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted July 9, 2003 Administrators Report Share Posted July 9, 2003 Medora, it's probably just a combination of a new way of working, and also increased amount of work. Don't worry about it, it will go away ;) Take a hot bath, then put some Icy Hot or some other balm on it, and it will be better soon! Link to comment
