Guest primaballerina13
Well in class we are learning this ribbon dance from the nutcracker. (the ribbon candy dance i think it's called) it's a really cool dance that i would like to try out for. but i'm not so great with the ribbon and i would like to practice with it. But i don't have a ribbon to practice with. and right now we only have 1 ribbon that we are taking turns using. Does anybody have any suggestions of how i could practice it? Quote Link to comment
Guest Firebird3000
You could try buying a ribbon like the one your using in class. Quote Link to comment
Mel Johnson
And if you can't buy one preassembled, make one. Quote Link to comment

Mel Johnson
Take a length of 3/8 inch dowel about 1-2 feet long, a thumbtack, then go to a fabric store and buy a length of ribbon of the same weight as the kind you use in rehearsal. Tack the ribbon to the end of the dowel and you're done. If you don't need one with a wand, skip the dowel. Cheaper than that, it doesn't get. Quote Link to comment
