Is the an online dictonary or something where i can learn the proper ballet terms? I know what they are in class but when i get home my mind goes blank and i dont remember what anything is! I cant pratice the combinations if i dont know what i am doing! :)

Amanda, the site Cystette mentioned is very good. Books are also excellent! :) Of course the best way to learn the terminology is to be taught in class, however, every dancer should at least have the Gail Grant Dictionary and Technical Manual of Ballet! It is an excellent little book, widely available at most dance stores and large book stores, and it is very inexpensive. For other recommended books, go to the home page of Ballet Alert and then to the section called The Studio. There is a lot of good stuff there, including a book list.

I found the Gail Grant book mentioned above at half price bookstore for about $3! It's helped a lot when writing down corrections and I'm not exactly positive of what would be the correct way of how to do it.
