Guest angelwings
Help! I'm going to be auditioning for my studio's production of the Nutcracker next week. I've never auditioned for anything before. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I'm really nervous. What should I do if I mess up a combination in the centre or across the floor in plain view of my teacher? Thanks for your help! Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted July 31, 2003 Administrators Report Share Posted July 31, 2003 Hello angelwings, welcome to Ballet Alert! Online Auditions are usually just classes, or in the case of Nutcracker you are likely to be given some of the choreography from the part you are auditioning for. The most important thing is to maintain your composer if you make a mistake, keep smiling, keep moving, and try to get back on track in the combination. Quote Link to comment
