Guest DancingBoi
I'm not sure where to put this question i ordered something off the internet and then I recieved an email saying the item was "back ordered" what does this mean? The website said that the item should be delivered in 7 to 10 days but would the "back order" affect the length of shipment? Link to comment
Mel Johnson
"Backordered" means that the item is out of stock all the way "back" to the source of supply (usually the manufacturer). And yes, that definitely will affect the delivery date. But if the invoice has stated that the item has an estimated delivery date, that means that they have some idea worth stating that the object will be in soon. If it's just on the website, all bets are off. Link to comment
Guest DancingBoi
Oh, well, I just checked and apparently the 7 to 10 day estimate was on the website and not on the invoice. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up for me. Link to comment
