Guest petiteanise
I'm really getting bugged out about my teacher. He wanted me to do clara but I said no because i did it last year and i'm tired of being type casted all the time. I always get these child roles because my features make me look like i'm twelve, i have a very small nose, chin, high cheek bones, and big eyes (they say i look like a precious moments picture). I asked for another role and i was placed as one of the dolls instead. he keeps making sarcastic remarks though like "if someone would have taken the role offered her we wouldn't have to buy a new costume" and then he looks really ugly at me...was it wrong of me to not take the role? My hubby and mom say that i was being disrespectful and ungrateful and i should go apologize and take the role...i don't thinks its fair to the other students who might do just as well as i did or even better...what do y'all thing? Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted October 11, 2003 Administrators Report Share Posted October 11, 2003 Well, petiteanise, Clara in most productions is a featured role, with some solo dancing as well as acting and being on through the whole show. Seems to me that anyone would be happy to do this role. Link to comment
Mel Johnson
Let me get this right in my mind: You DON'T want to be the star of the show? Link to comment
