Guest meliss83
i was in class thursday and i was doing a releve through passe to the front and i guess something wasn't right and i popped or... did something to my hip, now i can't do releves at all on my left side and sometimes it hurts to lift my leg at all... even walking, It seems to crackel more... if thats the right word, like if i twist it'll sort of crack and pop etc, that doesn't hurt it usually feels better but its probably still a bad thing. i have been keeping it heated with a heating pad and last night i soaked it in hot water with Epsom salt, i was just wondering if anyone had any other ideas of what i could do to make it go away, i'm scared this is really going to hinder my dancing forever! any help would be great! thank you!!!! -melissa Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted November 22, 2003 Administrators Report Share Posted November 22, 2003 Melissa, I seriously doubt that it will hinder your dancing forever.....however, if it is not better by Monday, I would suggest making an appointment with your othopedic physician and finding out what is wrong and what to do about it. Mel Johnson
And don't forget the ice bag if you can't break for a hot soak! Link to comment

Mel Johnson
Well, Melissa, we only do what we can here online. Now, do your part, and if it's still bad on Monday, get an appointment with that ortho! And let us know how things work out. We care, and we love to hear about it when we're able to help somebody, even if it's only to say, "Go to the doctor." Link to comment
