Books: History of Ballet

Recommended Posts

I have a book called "World Ballet" by Joan Selby-Lowndes. Its an older book, first published in 1982, but I found it really good. It has a history of ballet, including information on early dancers, and also information on ballet in different parts of the world. It might be hard to find, I found mine in a second hand book store early last year.

There's always good old Ballet 101: A Complete Guide to Learning and Loving the Ballet by Robert Greskovic. Ballet history, and so much more! You can order it through the Amazon link above.
