Guest nyMETdancer
By toe nail has been bruised for about 4 months. It has finally fallen off. I have been wrapping it , and my nurse at school put a little ace wrape ( made esp. for toes) on it, ( it's thin). I haven't gone on pointe with it get, but odes anyone suggest anything to make it grow faster. Or is it the kind of thing you shoul djust give time. I will no way ever stop dancing so I am just going to let my big toe suffer. any suggestions would be much appreciated! Quote Link to comment
Mel Johnson
It just takes its own time. Anytime you have a wound that causes an injury to the skin that starts bleeding or just an opening like a decubitus ulcer, the Conventional Wisdom runs that you take in more protein to speed healing; that's fairly simple to do, considering all the food options open to us today, not to mention supplements. Just keep padding it until things fill in back to normal. Quote Link to comment
