Swanilda
I recently auditioned for a company I am very interested in. I felt that the director liked me and that I would fit in well with the style of the company, and they are hiring (always a good thing!) I just didn't feel that I danced my best, as I am recovering from an injury and had a cold. They have another audition in two weeks and I feel I'll be better prepared. Is it OK to go again? I know it's always good to wear the same leo/hair, ect. I assume I bring pictures as they are always requested. I was going to bring a different dance shot but I only have one headshot-- do I bring two? Is this OK to do? Thanks! Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted March 2, 2004 Administrators Report Share Posted March 2, 2004 Swanhilda, I'm stumped on this one. I really have no idea if it would be good to audition again or not. I have given students second auditions for various reasons, but I always know about it and approve it ahead of time. I just really don't know how a company director would take that. It could be positive, but I really don't know. I will see if I can find out. I don't think the photos are a major problem. If they recognize you, then fine, and if not, just hand in the photos. But first let me see what my ballet master and director friends have to say about this Link to comment
