How important is it?

Recommended Posts

How important is it to have perfect splits, a reasonably high develope (110? - 120?), and good turn out (180?) as a male dancer?

Are major companys going to want all of these or can I dance with a 90? develope, not very good splits, and 130? turnout.

Well, the turnout's gotta be better than 130 degrees. That much is certain. You don't have to be able to do a split as a male dancer, but they sure come in handy as a stretch. And just above the hip-level is standard "good extension" for male dancers today.
