Guest goldenpineapple
Hello everyone! One of my teachers from an SI told me that when you roll down from pointe, the foot that rolls down quicker or first is the stronger one. Is this true? I know that you're supposed to roll down at the same time, but I was just wondering whether it makes a big difference or if it's just a minor thing.. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Danielle DeVor
Since this is more of a technique question rather than a pointe shoe question, I am going to transfer this topic to the young dancers forum. Quote Link to comment
Mel Johnson
Well, I've heard a lot of them, but that's a new one on me. My guess is that it would vary with the student. I wouldn't assume that the foot that rolls down first is stronger, but I sure would raise cain about the feet not coming down at the same time! Quote Link to comment
