floor excercises

I'm doing series of floor excercises every night to gain some strength. Someone told me I shouldn't do more then 25 of each excercise, because more will create bulky muscles. Is this true, and if not, how many is the ideal number of executions for floor excercises?

Before anyone can answer that question, we have to know what kind of floor exercises you're doing. Push-ups? Squats with barbells? Somersaults? What?

I'm doing stuff like crunches, and excercises from the NYCB work out.
