Efface Positions

Is there a physiological or kinetic reason why an efface arabesque is harder to get directly behind you than one in croise? Or is it something mental? (I seem to have the same problem in devant positions as well, so it's not magnetic mirrors or something like that :grinning: ).

It's harder to cheat the position in croisé than it is in effacé :D Seriously. However, I have plenty of students who still manage NOT to get it behind them in croisé until I start yelling about it! :grinning:
