Does anyone have favorite things to wear (as a male dancer) for warmups? I'm trying to get ready for a SI and just wondering what to get before i go

In the summer, I usually recommend tall (thigh-high) legwarmers for my male students. Nothing else is really necessary. Cute, but not necessary. (Note Well: Yes, you must wear tights and a dance belt at least.)

Two things since i started back! Anything made of microfiber Fleece, I have a pair of micro fiber fleece tights/ leggings and a zip front pullover I got for skiing. They're great and hold the heat! without sweating to death! :bouncing: leg warmers are great but if you wear any lycra tights they tend to slide down.

You can get knitted pants, Made by Chacott. I'll warn you though they are pretty garish. Vladimir Malakov wears them in the Born to Be Wild Video.

I usually wear a pair of shorts made by Frontline they are a cargo capri. Style number 200-172

and Mucklucks. Though... Does the SI that you are going to really want/allow you to wear warmups?

You worm up? I'd see a doctor about that! :D

Mukluks are sort of pull-on boots or buskins based on eskimo boots. Mukluk should not be confused with muktuk, or piece of whale blubber, which, if you put it on your feet before class would be messy, smelly, and worst of all, slippery.

It's probably in the area of math, where the farthest I can go is "The squaw of the hippopotamus is equal to the sons of the squaws of the other two hides." There's the punch line, now you make up the joke!
