Guest StarySkiesDance Posted June 15, 2004 Report Share Posted June 15, 2004 I sprained my ankle doing a turn on pointe and now I am afraid to do much of anything without the aid of the barre, when I am on that foot en pointe. Are there any excerises I can do to strenthen my ankle and improve my technique? Thank you! Link to comment

A sprain requires some pretty major time off. Lay off pointe, and if necessary, relevés at all (maybe even class!) until the symptoms disappear. Then we'll worry about getting your foot and technique stronger. In the meantime, run a search for "foot strength". There is a lot of information already on here. Link to comment
