In school, they are really pushing us to decide what we want to do when we graduate from high school. I was wondering if any of you could tell me any other careers that have something to do with dance besides being a professional dancer?

oh and hi everyone, I'm new to this forum

Hello IloveDance, and welcome to Ballet Alert Online! :D

Aside from dancing professionally, there are jobs for dancers in teaching, choreography, costuming, lighting, set design, arts management, physical therapy, dance therapy, and dance journalism and criticism.

Classically trained dancers also frequently move into modern dance or Broadway show dance. In addition, due to their intense and highly disciplined training, they are generally exceptionally good students and end up doing very well no matter what the area of study and work they eventually turn to.

Actually, dance therapy is a study that uses dance in working with brain damaged or mentally retarded people. It is a form of physical therapy, but specialized to work with specific types of problems caused by brain damage. It requires an undergraduate degree, I think preferably in dance, and then a graduate degree in Dance Therapy.
