Stretching Behind Knees

When I lay on my stomach on my bed with the bottom half of my legs hanging off the end, and I go to move after a long while, it feels really uncomfortable behind my knees (kind of hurts). Like I was stretching hyperextension or something -- is that good or bad?

I don't think that's a terrific position to be in, actually. Why are you doing that? If something hurts, don't do it!
