Guest Cballet4me
How can you tell if you are really holding your leg in something like an attitude because some of my teachers have been telling me to do that, but I can't tell if I am. Is there some kind of feeling that you get in your inner thigh? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted July 27, 2004 Administrators Report Share Posted July 27, 2004 I'm not sure I understand your question, Cballet. Are there no mirrors in your studio? If you can't feel a correct attitude, then you need to look at it. I would worry less about which specific muscle is working and more about what it looks like. It's either an attitude, in the correct place and rotation, or it isn't. The height is not as important as the shape. First the rotation and the shape of the leg and foot, then the extension. Guest Cballet4me
Oh okay. That answers my question. Even if it doesn't seem that way. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
