Dancer06
I wasn't sure where to put this, so move it if necessary! I was reading the biographies of several dancers from the local company, and it says that two of the dancers have graduated from Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's Graduate Program. I looked on their website but didn't seem to find anything about it. Can anyone tell me what it is exactly? Thanks! Edited August 4, 2004 by Dancer06 Quote Link to comment
Guest SophieSapphire
This is from their website: http://www.pbt.org/school/prepro.html The Graduate/Pre-Professional Program offers students one to two years of additional dance instruction after high school. This prepares students for a professional career in classical ballet. The curriculum is taught by a distinguished faculty who work closely with PBT Artistic Director Terrence S. Orr to achieve a style that reflects his vision and adapts itself well to the demands of other professional ballet companies. Admission to the program is by audition and invitation. Contact the PBT School office to obtain more information about the Graduate/Pre-Professional Program or to arrange for an audition. Hope that helps! Quote Link to comment
