Guest Allard-Fleischl
Can any body help me to fine videos or DVDs of variations for competition dances? Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted August 7, 2004 Administrators Report Share Posted August 7, 2004 Hello, Allard-Fleischl, welcome to Ballet Talk for Dancers! What variations do you want? You will need to buy the DVD's of the full length ballets to get all the variations. There are no tapes or DVD's of just variations, to my knowledge. However, for competitions you also need a teacher or coach, and they should know the variations and teach them to you. Quote Link to comment
mohnurka
There are tapes with certain variations and excerpts of ballets on them, but you'd have to search, and probably buy several. Which ones are you looking for? Quote Link to comment
Guest IrishKitri
Hello, if you just want a video to get an impression on what it should look like, you could try www.prixdelausanne.com - for Kitri (DQ, first act and wedding variation), Gamzatti, Aurore, Raymonda, Giselle first act and some more. Hope this helps. IrishKitri Quote Link to comment
