Guest jla_ksu
Hi All, I was 30 when I started in the Nutcracker Party Scene and 34 for regular ballet classes and Cinderella. I am enjoying the heck out of it and can't wait for Nutcracker this year. I sure hope I get a bigger part in this years Nutcracker (although I was the Father last year). Enjoy, Jeff Quote Link to comment

DreadPirateRoberts
I was 39; starting ballet class was the official opening ceremony for my "midlife crisis"... (Now, after almost 4 years, I consider myself to be in mid-midlife crisis ) Quote Link to comment
ping
My mom forced me in to it when I was 5 years old. Hated it for a whole year and then all of a sudden fell in love. I have been dancing ever since. ping Quote Link to comment
Garyecht
I started dancing (competitive ballroom) at 50, started ballet at 52 and am now 60. Before dance, I was extremely active in physical pursuits, so I think of dance as an evolution of sorts. Quote Link to comment
2 Left Feet
I was a young, naive 36. Now I'm a crusty, old 39 and I promise to dance as long as my body can take it. Quote Link to comment
ping
Oh by the way. My dad who doesn't post on here but he started 3 years ago. He is kind of a joke and the only thing he can do with any certainty are lifts. and even those he doesn't do very well. But he trys and that's what counts... I guess. ping Quote Link to comment
dancersteven
started at 19, got my first professional job at 22, and haven't looked back. OK, that was a lie, I look back all the time and wish I had started when I was 12. . . S. Quote Link to comment
