Guest xox DaNciNg in PiNk xox
does anybody have any specific things that will improve your demi pointe? i apparently have a bad demi and was wondering if it could be from being in gaynors which have a reputation for having bad demi pointe(i dont wear them anymore but i think that could be the problem) and am now trying hard to correct it. Any suggestions? Quote Link to comment
Mel Johnson
You should have had a fairly good demi-pointe before you went on pointe, Gaynors or no. There's a regular litany that Ms. Leigh and I have about things that will improve the way your foot points. It goes, "Relevé, elevé, tendu, degagé, a good position sur le cou de pied, frappé and pas de cheval." Pay careful attention to working the whole foot all the way through these things in particular.
