I am enjoying it very much, with the exception of one thing: my heels and ankles tend to crack, particularly in jumps and rising from a demi-plie. It's been happening less since I've started ballet, but it's still extremely annoying and rather embarrassing. Is there something I can do to make this stop? Will I outgrow it, or is it just something that needs strengthening and will slowly disappear with practice? We're going to have a performance in December and I'm rather concerned about this.
