Guest xox DaNciNg in PiNk xox Posted November 1, 2004 Report Share Posted November 1, 2004 i don't know if i'm allowed to post here(i'm 15) but i posted in the 13-16 forum and was told to look in here so i fugured i'd ask something. I'm thinking about dancing in college and need to take more ballet classes(i don't however want to give up my other studies in dance). I like in the worcester massachusetts area and only go to a local studio. Does anyone have any studios where i could try to go to get a better ballet education to prep me to dance in college and maybe more? i'm seriously thinking i need to make a change but i need some advice o also any good colleges in the new york area i could go to that is both good in dance and other education?(i'm not quite sure if i want to dedicate my entire future career to dance) Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted November 1, 2004 Administrators Report Share Posted November 1, 2004 Michelle, I don't know much about the Worcester area, but I think it might not be too far from either Walnut Hill, or even from Boston. If you have a way to get to either of these places, there is good training available. Finding time to take more classes in ballet may make it difficult to continue all of your other classes, but as I said in the other forum, some of the things may be quite unnecessary. While I told you to look in this forum, it was for the purpose of looking at discussions of college programs. You should really post questions that are not about college in your own forum. East Street Ballet http://eaststreetballet.org/ in Hadley (west of you, small but good.). This one is in Hopkinton (east of you, I think.
