JennyKaye
Hi! I currently study Ballet twice a week, One 1hr Grade 6 class, One 2 hr Grade 7 class. However I really want to do more, but the studio that I am at, although good, doesn't offer enough classes! Does anyone know of a school around the Hampshire/Surrey/Berkshire area that could offer me more classes? Please let me know! Thanks, Jen x Quote Link to comment
Mel Johnson
I hear a lot of this about suburban/rural England, and think it's a great pity. Just not enough classes being taught. Anybody who knows of good training in or about Hants., let us know! Quote Link to comment
Guest DancingPixie
What about that big school in Brighton? - any good? It's called Dance Laines - or something similar. Edited November 15, 2004 by DancingPixie Quote Link to comment

Guest Janelle M
Hi, I have also been looking for ballet classes that offer syllabus work in London. There are quite a few companies that offer "open" classes in London such as Danceworks and Pineapple. The London studio dance Centre offer some syllabus work but not many for adults. I would aslo recommend you try the RAD Headquarters in Battersea. I hope this information is helpful! I am not too sure of any other studios outside of London. Good Luck! JennyKaye
I'm actually in a place called Fleet if anyone's heard of it (or even lives there!). I'm about 50 minutes away from London on the train, it would cost me a fair amount to commute to classes! xx Quote Link to comment

Thanks, Jen x <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi Jen, Try Essexdance - teacher : Lesley Hetherington based in Chelmsford. I am a complete beginner ( Adult / male) who has only just started and Lesley runs a variety of classes - maybe she could coach you privately. Good luck. Will Quote Link to comment
Guest beckster
Where's Skippy? She's a Reading/Wokingham -based poster but doesn't manage post here very often. I'm sure she'll eventually turn up and will be able to give you some advice about classes. Quote Link to comment
