Danzatriz
I dont think anything on this book has been posted here before (could be wrong), which is strange because i bought, read, and LOVED this book. It was real eye-opening, though. Discusses everything from teaching practices, to auditions, to stage fright... everything! I would really recomend it to anyone who dances (it discusses other styles and forms of dance besides ballet) from a really unique perspective since the author is both a former dancer (NYCB) and a clinical psychologist - - ...great book Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted December 27, 2004 Administrators Report Share Posted December 27, 2004 It has been discussed here, and recommended, however it has been quite a long time since it was mentioned. Quote Link to comment
tu2sparkles
I'm actually reading it and it really isn't all that helpful. It doesn't go into nutrition as far as I had hoped, or cross training for that matter. I was also hoping for some more help with burnout. I ordered her most recent book The Dancer's Way so hopefully that'll provide more of what I'm looking for. Quote Link to comment
