mini cooper
I'm a parent so if you need to edit, please do. This happened to us a couple of years ago. We spent several weeks in limbo grabbing class wherever we could. In some cases, I took my dd to my gym where one of the aerobics class rooms is outfitted like a really nice ballet studio - complete with beautiful (slightly slippery) wood floors, mirrors, great lighting, barres, and windows facing a wonderful natural landscape. At the gym, dd would do barre work, and some center work on her own - nothing fancy - just the basics and lots of stretching. It was horrible to be in limbo. I don't envy your position at all. Suddenly, driving an hour does not seem like a big deal. I know your dad is not crazy about it. I was not when we were trying to figure out what to do. We ended up with what I now consider a bandaid on the situation that lasted slightly more than a year. We're past that. For a year now, we have been driving nearly an hour for ballet. It's well worth the drive. We have done some rearranging of our lives, but it's worked extremely well. I would say that we use our time very wisely. Getting to this point took lots of time to discern what was the right for us. We sought counsel from many people, did lots of research, and prayed that we could find the right solution. I hope you find the right solution for you. There is one out there, I promise. I wish you the best, mc Quote Link to comment
FouetteFanatic
Are you near Orem? Craft of Choreography was held at a studio there last summer and the dancers were very good. They also had three large studios and a physical therapy area. It looked very good to me! Quote Link to comment
