Guest SunshineMC2004
I just started dancing this year with a dance ministry at my school. I feel in love with dancing the first day. I want to keep dancing over the summer... the studios I talked to mostly offer dance classes during the school year, what can I expect to find for dance classes over the summer? Is it common for studios to offer "adult" summer classes? Will they be different than classes during the school year? Thanks! Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted January 8, 2005 Administrators Report Share Posted January 8, 2005 Hello Sunshine, welcome to Ballet Talk for Dancers! It's lovely to hear that you have fallen in love with dancing! Search for a school in your area that offers classes through the summer, whether adult or regular program. Surely there must be something! If you are anywhere near a major city there are always at least adult classes ongoing through the summer, and should be other programs as well. You might have to travel a bit, but, many dancers have to do that to find good training. Link to comment

Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted January 8, 2005 Administrators Report Share Posted January 8, 2005 An hour and a half south of DC like Fredericksburg area? There are some good schools there. If you are further south, head for Richmond! Richmond Ballet has an excellent program. Link to comment
