Does anyone know any really good stretches or exercises that increase back flexibility, especially the lower back. I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks!

There really is nothing quite like proper port de bras for building and maintaining a flexible back, even down to the sacral/coccygeal area. All those muscles connect and interconnect along the spine, so having good arms will help your back. Further, when taking a cambré back, remember to release your front abdominal muscles so that you're not binding yourself up from travel.

I think that yoga could help you. I would try Cobras. You lay on the floor and your stomach and now you pull your body up with your arms. Make sure that you go up slowly and when you hold the postition that you breath deeply and regularly and go also slow down. Another nice exercises is to grab your ankles (same position like the cobra) and then try to "fold" yourself together bei pulling the legs gently towards your head. (don't forget to breath and please do this exercises only warmed up and very careful)
