Guest nodey
For our spring performance, I was cast in a great Balanchine piece which I am honored to be doing and excited about... but I'm having a problem maintaining my energy level throughout the piece and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for stamina. I don't know if running is such a good idea because of the possibility of shin splints, and I don't have access to a treadmill or anything without getting a membership to a gym.. so is there anything else I can do?? Mel Johnson
No, do not run. If you need staying power in a part, do that part twice or three times, one right after another. That way, if you only have to do it once, you'll have passed that long ago. Quote Link to comment
