Guest Allie
Has anyone ever been to the adult summer intensives? I just began ballet 1 year ago when I decided to return to college. I graduate in May, but there is no where for me to take classes anymore I thought a summer intensive might be the last big hoorah before I say farewell (My husband and I are planning another child soon ). Guest Aurelie
I went to ADC in 2002 and it was great. It was one of the best experiences of my life. But if you decide to go to one I suggest you start taking as may classes as possible right now. I thought I was in pretty good shape until I needed to dance six hours a day. I think that that even if you plan to have another child that should not be a reason to push ballet out of your life, if you are serious enough to take a summer intensive than you should be serious about keeping iballet in you life. I know it's hard but ypu should try. Aurelie Quote Link to comment
Guest Allie
What and where is ADC? And I hear what you are saying- my teacher actually wants me to come with her to a summer intensive in Canada to apprentice I was shocked when she asked me, and I had to say no because my family always comes first in my life, but I will miss ballet so much if I don't have the opportunity to keep at least one class. Nashville Ballet does as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tiffany, Is the Atlanta Ballet program the one week program? I had trouble finding information. I was looking on their website and all I saw outside of the normal classes was a one week adult program and unfortunately it's the same week I'm at a workshop in Alabama! Quote Link to comment
Tiffany
All I know about the Atlanta Ballet summer workshop for adults is what is listed on the website; looks like it is just a week long. Sorry I don't have more info! Where is the workshop you're going to in Alabama, if you don't mind my asking? Quote Link to comment

I'm attending the Institute for Genealogical and Historical Research at Samford. Quote Link to comment
