Summer Jobs involving Dance

I'm looking for a job this summer that in some way involves dance. I'm 16, will turn 17 at the end of July. I'm not really sure how to go about this and what would still be open. I'd really like to be involved in a dance camp for very little kids (like 6 year olds), I know they often have teenagers assisting those. There are several dance studios in my city with little summer dance camps but I emailed one of them and got no reply. There are lists online of camps looking for teenagers to help but I somehow couldn't find any that prominantly featured dance anywhere near me. I can easily get to NYC. Does anyone have any suggestions, past experiences, ways to ask the dance studios around me? I know most dance studios get their teenage assistants from their own school but I'm not currently dancing anywhere regularly so. Thanks
