Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted March 28, 2005 Administrators Report Share Posted March 28, 2005 Michella, would you please clarify what you mean by "ballet discipline"? And what would this have to do with "academic professors", or are you speaking of their ballet teachers? Students in ballet should learn discipline from the first day. If students come into the class from somewhere else and have not learned this discipline, they need to be taught what is expected from them in a ballet class. If they learn the rules and behave, there should not be a need for any disciplinary action. If they don't follow the rules, once they understand them, then they should be corrected, or asked to sit down for the rest of the class until they can comply with the rules. Students who repeatedly ignore the class discipline should be dismissed from the school. Link to comment
