Generally, what leotard styles are the most flattering? I find high cut legs and princess seams appealing, but as I'm getting ready to order leotards for SIs, I was just wondering what is appealing. Also, are specific colors more appealing than others? Finally, besides DDS and Dance Distributors, where do you guys order your stuff? Thanks, Any help would be awesome.

For me, 3/4 and long sleeve leos are always very flattering. I agree with the high cut leg, and I also thing the V neck line is very flattering. All does depend on your body type, though. I love the colors black, hunter green, navy...all subdued, darker colors.

This is usually a buddy board type of question, but as you don't have BB access, I'll allow it to stay here for awhile.

I find that dark colors and princess seams are very flattering. Also, lower backs!

high cut legs, low cut back and a v front look best on me.

white leotards aren't so flattering either :-/

unless you are tan... i love low-back leotards because they are very flattering, but i have trouble finding ones low enough to really look good. The descriptions in catalogues and online are somewhat deceiving, as are the pictures because they dont usually show you the entire backside to gove you a sense of the proportion of the leotard. so does anyone have any good, low-back leotard suggestions?

Yeah- I have that problem too! The catalogs are always like "low cut back" and then I get it, and think that it's just average, like mid-back. I was wondering the same thing!

The Mirella 201L camisole leo is great! It has a really low back.

Funny you mention that one.. I have it, actually... four of them (2 in black, 1 in white and 1 in white w/ piping)! I find that the backs on those are still a little too high. Any other suggestions? :)

Oooh, Ithat one is great! However I have found that a lot of Natalie leotards, um... ride up the backside... any solutions to that? :)
