ballet24/7
I'd like to know more about these ballets....their difficulty, their style, what they look like. Are there any videos or websites that describes either if not both of these ballets? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Hans
There's a tape of Sylvie Guillem dancing Grand Pas Classique; I believe it's on the Paris Opera Ballet's "Seven Ballets" tape. Satanella is also known as Carnival in Venice, and only a pas de deux survives. You can find it on the "Kirov Ballet: Classic Ballet Night" tape, and I think both of those are available on Amazon via the link at the top of the page. Quote Link to comment
greyhound
My DD learned a variation from Santanella during her summer intensive. I've tried to find the music on the web...no luck. Does anyone know the composer and the name of the music used in the variation? Better yet...does anyone know a cd that includes the music. Quote Link to comment

greyhound
Thank you Super. DD listened and said the music for the female variation was much slower than the piano players music at the SI. Quote Link to comment
