ballet24/7
Some days I just feel really disconnected from the floor, especially in pointe shoes. For example, I hop a lot when coming out of say an attitude turn or something. I do tend to neglect my plie, but I don't think that's the sole reason. I just feel out of control at times and really not grounded....any suggestions? Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted October 21, 2005 Administrators Report Share Posted October 21, 2005 Sounds to me like you need to work on control getting off pointe, like rolling through the foot into demi pliƩ. Everything goes in that pliƩ, so it is really very important. Practice it at the barre, and then go into the center with it. Take each movement separately and work on it. Quote Link to comment
