Off the top of my head, in Chicago we have

Ruth Page - www.ruthpage.org

Ballet Chicago - www.balletchicago.org

Hyde Park School of Ballet - www.hydeparkschoolofballet

I know there's at least another on the northside (Ballet Arts?), and many in the suburbs.

Thank you Treefrog, that was my question. There are several other ballet schools in the Cincinnati area, but I am confused about what limits you want on this definition.

i am doing it to help my assistant director compile a mailing list for our summer intensive brochures. she said to include school with a decent ballet program but not necessarily perfection. so very few limitations, just as long as they have ballet. thanks again

That helps me a great deal. These are the ones I know around here that are ballet programs not dance schools with ballet.

School for Creative and Performing arts ballet program: http://scpaballet.com

CCM-prep ballet progam (can be sent to main office): http://www.ccm.uc.edu/prep/index.html

Ballet tech: http://www.ballettechohio.org/

Ballet Theatre Midwest: http://www.ballettheatremidwest.com/

Here is a more generic site that has a listing of dance workshops in Ohio. It is not exclusively ballet workshops.

http://www.ohiodance.org/workshops.html

Hope that helps

Bluegrass Youth Ballet www.bluegrassyouthballet.com in Lexington, Kentucky, draws dancers from many surrounding cities, and has a fairly new program, but as many or more pre-professional dancers/instructors than Lexington Ballet and other Kentucky dance schools.
