dancindaughters
I'm not sure if i'm posting this in the right place, so feel free to move it. I am wondering about therabands. Are they o.k. for kids to use? They come in (at least) three strengths; is it best to start with the lightest? Do they include instructions for use? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted November 2, 2005 Administrators Report Share Posted November 2, 2005 I think they are okay as long as they are shown how to use them. The teacher should do that with the young ones. And yes, I would start with the weaker bands at that age. The Gaynor Minden package has light weight bands and an instruction booklet. Guest afroballet01
*Knock Knock* Can't you use old tights as therabands? Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted November 5, 2005 Administrators Report Share Posted November 5, 2005 No, they really do not provide the same resistance at all. Quote Link to comment
Guest afroballet01
Oh.Is it too much or not enough resistance? Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted November 5, 2005 Administrators Report Share Posted November 5, 2005 Not enough, but also a different kind of resistance, I would think. I have never tried it with tights, but even though they stretch, I just don't think it would be the same at all. I could be wrong. Quote Link to comment
