ami1436 Posted November 9, 2005 Report Share Posted November 9, 2005 Jane, don't cut the toes off! Cut a slit in the bottom of the tights, and nail polish or so to keep it from laddering. Your toes are tapered - the glisses must HURT. For people with narrow heels (and some without), the heels will slip off during fittings, especially as the shanks are not bending yet.... elastic on your heel is a must if you have narrow heels! This shape (wide metatarsals, tapered toes, narrow heel), often make people and fitters think that a square shoe is needed, to accomodate the metatarsal. Not true. The square will not support the taper. You have to work with these for now, but maybe as you figure out what you like and dislike about the shoes, then fill in a form for Ms. Devor. Where did you get fitted? Is it the store that's near me (which I think you know?). If so, have yet to see a good fitting come from that store. ugh. Quote Link to post
