MADancer
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question so please feel free to move if neccessary. Just got back from classes tonight and during ballet my teacher gave me a form for a workshop held in January called a Month of Sundays. It is run by The Harkness Foundation for Dance and The David Howard Foundation and is held at the New Dance Group Arts Center. It seems to be a mix of ballet, modern, and jazz? classes from 10 am to 4 pm every Sunday. It seems like a very helpful program with very qualified teahcers David Howard of course being the Artistic Director. I was just wondering if anyone has attended this prgram in the past and whether they thought it was worthwhile. I really wanted to attend the Harid audition in NYC on the 22nd which lies on one of the days of the program obviously so I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on whether it would still be worthwhile to pay for the four weeks and only attend 3? I have more information to if anyone is interested. It seems interesting since most places including my school don't have classes on Sundays. Sorry for the long message! Quote Link to comment
Mel Johnson
Had to think for a long while on this one, and the best I can come up with is "up to you". As this seems to be a new program, it's a bit like buying a pig in a poke, but since David Howard is involved it's a pretty good indication the pig is Prime quality. Quote Link to comment
