balletbum74
When I do a quick rombersay, [spelling?] I can do it pretty well. But when the music is slightly slower, I get "stuck" en pointe and my leg is stuck a la seconde. I cannot roll through my shank. My leg is also unable to rotate derierre. I have to pull into a pirouette sometimes or just fall out of it. I have no trouble in character shoes and flat shoes however. Advice? Quote Link to comment
Hans
I can't really help with the pointe issue, but it's spelled "renversé." Quote Link to comment
Mel Johnson
I fixed it. Now, what I'll bet is happening there is that you've found a way to settle into your hip, and thus not be able to continue with the rond de jambe part of the renversé. Lift out of the hip continuously during the whole movement. Quote Link to comment
