SeaMonkey
We've been doing a Grand Allegro in class, and she's said that this week, she wants us to add and extra turn and a cabriole in the jumps. I've read somewhere on the board that a high single saute de basque is more advisiable for girls than a double. When I used to go across the floor with my guy friend, we'd try to out jump each other, so I'd go for doubles, but only in the classroom. For cabrioles and girls, should we go for height and extension, providing we still have proper alignment ? I've taken class with girl who have done huge cabrioles like the guys, and some that keep them very low. Quote Link to comment
Mel Johnson
Sure, you never know when you might be asked to do the #2 Shade variation! Quote Link to comment
