What grade do you start partner work?

Another thing I'm pondering, is it to do with age too?

 

When do you start partner work?

 

Oh, and does it change from ballet school to ballet school or is it part of the syllabus, so does get done at a particular grade?

 

Now this post is starting to not make sense, if confused, I'll try to explain my question more thoroughly.

Generally, it's age-dependent, and most schools start partnering when the boys and girls are about thirteen or fourteen, when they've built enough core strength to withstand the rigors of pas de deux, which are considerable on both parts.
