Guest Eulalia
I can get a full 6 o'clock penchee on flat, but when I'm en pointe it doesn't get there. I can still get full split en demi pointe, so I don't know if it's a back in the heel thing. I was wondering if there is something that I could do to get it full split en pointe. Thanks! Mel Johnson
Why would you want one? It doesn't readily turn into anything else, so not much use in variations. Where it does come in handy is in pas de deux, and there you have help. For what it's worth, the point of balance on the platform of the pointe shoe in that particular position is far forward over about a 1-2 mm area, so it's close tolerance! Link to comment
