My teacher says that when I go on pointe, I'm not putting enough weight on my feet or something. She tells me to push more and I do and then it lloks normal but it feels horrible in my knees. Help!

Apart from welcome to Ballet Talk for Dancers, let me ask how long you've studied, and how many classes you take a week.

And what do those 3 times a week consist of, in terms of hours of technique and pointe? If you are only 13, that would be minimum in terms of readiness for pointe, but if you are older than 13 then you should have more training than that.

You did not answer the age question, however, once you start pointe work, there needs to be a dedicated time for the pointe work, separate from the 3 technique classes.
